This Readme document contains important information to read before installing Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2. It describes how to find installation assistance, how to find supplemental product information in the Release Notes, and copyright attributions for the product. This Readme file is available on your installation media.

Obtain SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2

SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 is available for download at the SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 download page. You can download SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 Express Edition here and the SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 Feature Pack here.

Installation Instructions

The SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 download page contains the system requirements for installing SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 and basic installation instructions.
