Instructions For Your New Theme and Template Set....
While a little bit of Front Page and HTML knowledge helps, the web template makes it easy to get this same look on your own site. This template uses tables rather than the "top and left shared borders", which gives you more control over your navigation structure.
By using this template you shouldn't have any trouble creating a new web using this theme. All the extra images are automatically inserted in their proper places. All that you have to do is add your own text and add or delete any pages to make this web uniquely yours. Before we go any farther, you might want to preview this web in your browser (File > Preview in Browser) just to get an idea of how it looks. Now you can make a note of what pages you want to add and which ones to delete...like this one!
How to delete a page from this web:
Open your web and press the Navigation button in the toolbar to the left. You will now be looking at this web's navigation structure in the top panel and the folders and files in the bottom panel. Right-click on the page that you want to remove and select Delete. Then select the option to "Remove Page From Front Page Web."
How to change a page name:
There are already eight pages within this web. In the navigation view, right-click on the page and select "Rename". Type in the name you prefer, remembering to keep it short! You can then switch to the "Folders" view to change the "htm" name to match.
How to add a new page:
To add a new page, click on the folders view. Locate the newpage.htm page
and make a copy (Control + C then Control + V). Right click on the new
page to rename it. Now drag your new page into the navigation view.
Open the page and add your content.
Modifying the blank images:
If you want to do more with the blank images (see them within the "Images" folder), I have a short and easy tutorial on how to add text and a drop shadow within Image Composer located on my web site. Look in the "Help Center" section at
http://www.rtbwizards.com.
Helpful info:
Colors used in this theme....
103, 079, 047 - Dark Brown
197, 094, 045 - Rust
242, 134, 079 - Deep Peach
251, 224, 180 - Pale Peach
A final word about the templates:
This web template as well as the new page template is designed to expand and contract to accommodate a wide variety of browser resolutions. While a resolution of 800 x 600 has now become the standard, there are still some who view their pages at 640 x 480. Keep that in mind if you add extra images that are fairly wide.
The template and theme have been tested in both Internet Explorer and
Netscape Navigator. It is the responsibility of the user to have some
knowledge of what will and will not work in different browsers.
