Microsoft Office Communicator Mobile for Java: Supported Devices and Carriers

Issue: Communicator Mobile for Java is supported for certain devices. Communicator Mobile for Java might be compatible with additional devices that are not supported by Microsoft.

Resolution: The following phones are supported by Microsoft for Communicator Mobile for Java:

  • Nokia S40 5th edition FP1 phones such as Nokia 3120 Classic, Nokia 3600 slide, Nokia 5220 XpressMusic, Nokia 5310 XpressMusic, Nokia 5610 XpressMusic, Nokia 6212 classic, Nokia 6300i, Nokia 6301, Nokia 6500 classic, Nokia 6500 slide, Nokia 6600 fold, Nokia 6600 slide,
  • Nokia 7210 Supernova, Nokia 7310 Supernova, Nokia 7510 Supernova, Nokia 7610 Supernova, Nokia 7900 Prism, Nokia 8800 Arte
  • Motorola RAZR V3xx (SW version R27231 and later versions)
  • Nokia S60 3rd edition FP1 phones such as E51, E63, E66, E71 and N95

The following Nokia devices are compatible with Communicator Mobile for Java if your organization uses server SSL certificates with key lengths of 2048 bits or less, but they are not supported by Microsoft:

  • Nokia S40: Nokia 5300, Nokia 6233, Nokia 6234, Nokia 6267, Nokia 6275, Nokia 6275i, Nokia 6282, Nokia 6288, Nokia 6126,
  • Nokia 6300, Nokia 6555, Nokia 7373, Nokia 7390, Nokia 7500 Prism, Nokia 8600 Luna

Communicator Mobile for Java is certified to work in the following mobile networks: AT&T (US), Vodafone (UK, Spain, India), Orange (UK), Telefonica (Spain), Airtel (India), and IDEA (India). Communicator Mobile for Java might also work in other mobile networks that accept Java Verified Program certification.
