The release version of Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow
Foundation is compatible with release versions of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005,
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0, and with the 2007 Microsoft Office system.
Note The release version of Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for
Windows Workflow Foundation is NOT compatible with the pre-release versions of
the 2007 Microsoft Office system.
Note The release version of Visual Studio 2005
Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation is NOT supported with the pre-release
versions of the .NET Framework 3.0. Please uninstall any earlier versions of
the .NET Framework 3.0 before installing this release of Visual Studio 2005
Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation.
If you have an earlier version of Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows
Workflow Foundation installed, you must remove it before installing the release
version of Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation.
Perform the following steps:
If you have an earlier version of Windows Workflow Foundation Runtime
Components installed, you must remove it before installing the release version
of Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation. Perform the
following steps:
If you have a pre-release version of the .NET Framework 2.0 installed on
your machine, you must uninstall it and install the release version as
described in the following steps:
If you have a pre-release version of the .NET Framework 3.0 installed on
your machine, you must uninstall it and install the release version as described
in the following steps:
To install Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation,
perform the following steps:
Note Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows
Workflow Foundation will not be installed if you do not have Visual Studio 2005
installed. Also, if you have to repair an installation of Visual Studio 2005
Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation, you must run Visual Studio 2005
Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation.exe again and repair it through
that installation wizard rather than the one opened when you select Visual
Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation in Add or Remove
Programs.
In order to fully support localized versions of Visual
Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation, the language of the
localized version of Visual Studio 2005, the language of the .NET Framework 3.0
language pack, and the language of the localized version of Visual Studio 2005
Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation need to match. For example, to use
the German version of Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow
Foundation, you must also install the German language pack for .NET Framework
3.0 and the German version of Visual Studio 2005.
Localized versions of Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow
Foundation will be partially localized unless the corresponding .NET Framework
3.0 language pack has been installed.
Note You can install the English version of Visual
Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation on a localized version
of Visual Studio 2005; however, you cannot install a localized version of
Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation on the English
version of Visual Studio 2005 or on any other version where the languages do
not match.
