Dear Registered Member,
Welcome to the July edition of the Microsoft for Partners Newsletter.
I want to bring to your attention this month the upcoming August Beta release of Internet Explorer 8
(IE8), which will release with a default rendering mode, enabling IE8 to display web content with real improvements in standards compliance. IE8 will address many pain points especially for developers and designers
helping them drive toward the ideal of “write once, run anywhere” and freeing up more time to innovate vs modify content for different browsers.
However, browsing in IE8 Standards mode upon initial release may cause content written for previous versions of Internet Explorer to display differently than intended. We are encouraging site administrators to get their sites ready now for broad adoption of IE8. Please update your website using the IE7 compatibility tag
as quickly as possible to ensure content is displayed correctly.
I would like to hear any feedback or comments you might have - please feel free to email me
